Cognosys (Pty) Ltd is a privately held Johannesburg based IT company. Over the years we have had clients from Sub-Saharan Africa, but also from North America, especially Canada.

Our journey started in 2010 when we realised that the banking world is not for the entrepreneurial. Over the years we continuously refined our offerings and added new capabilities to our suite of services.

We started offering outsourced Business Intelligence (BI), then in 2014 added Business Process Automation (BPA), and in 2017 we incorporated both of these into business applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

We integrate these BI and BPA services with your existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. However should you have none of these, then we'll be happy to assist. We not only use the same systems internally, but have journeyed this specific route with many a happy client.

We have many years of experience in both management consulting and IT architecture & development. Coming from big corporate backgrounds, we have also survived the SME minefield. We understand startups and corporates, and have firsthand appreciation for their differences.

Our staff are all graduates in managerial sciences and computer science / information systems. We embrace Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and make regular contributions to this paradigm shift in software development.
